My name is Ingrid Lehnberg Hibberd and I am the Site manager of this site.

This site was created using MyHeritage.com. When we moved the site from Ian's computer to mine, all the personal photographs were lost and I have been busy replacing these.  Would anybody not happy with their photograph please contact us.  

The information regarding the ancestors now appearing on the site are from the following sources - ancestry.co.uk (personally), family.search.org (a free service provided by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) using extracts from parish records only, the Dorset On Line Parish Clerks (search site), and a personal visit to Dorchester History Centre.  I also hold birth and marriage certificates as well as copies of parish record entries on several people who form important links in your ancestry.

We are back, and this time with unlimited space which means that I can enter all the ancestors I've found during the last year on the Hibberd side, and have room to build up my own tree.  Looking at the number of bulging folders on my computer, this task could take months rather than weeks, particularly as I shall be adding more documentation.

I have received a lot of help from newfound relatives and friends who have been generous in sharing information and records.
