At the last count this group of families provided one Major, two Captains, one Lieutenant and one Flight Sergeant serving Queen and Country across the last hundred years. There are one or two noted in books and service spans service in Africa before the First World War through to service in Northern Ireland. Something I think for us all to be proud of!

Hello All,

We have a quite considerable line of people in the family with military service, my two grandfathers having served in the first world war. Is anybody else interested in this particular aspect? Don't hesitate to get in touch if you are, I have managed to uncover some excellent details!
