Inglegah, mentioned as the anecdote about the shooting of Frank Foley, is the front paddock of Braemar Stud. Located where the Quambone Rd crosses Marthaguy Creek, there was clearly the remains of an inn on the east bank of the creek with lots of old bottles and archaeology stuff very easy to find around the site. No building remains above the surface. Interestingly there had been an archaeological dig a bit further east along the road into the Braemar homestead - without the diggings being reinstated. Edna Cosgrove told me that had been a burial ground. Certainly aboriginal stones were found by my cousin Charlie in this area. Inglegah is marked on many maps of he area. It is about 25 miles from Warren which is an easy days ride so an obvious staging point to locate an inn at a good watering point.
