Basic family site
Welcome

My name is Tina Alldredge and I am the Webmaster of this site.

It has come to my attention that this website has caused some "problems" in certain parts of our "Family" and I have been asked by some to take the site down and that some people would like to be removed from the site. Either way, we are all still related...... I grew up not knowing most of my family, and created this site to see if I could possible find some relatives out there. I have been fortunate enough to find a lot of family members that I didn't even know existed and had hoped to share this site with my children as they grow older. Instead of allowing this site to cause problems, we should be using it to form relationships.

If for some reason you have a problem with something on this site, please let me know and we can work it out. tinaalldredge@gmail.com

This site was created using MyHeritage.com. This is a great system that allows anyone like you and me to create a site for their family and even publish their family tree on the Internet.

Obituaries:Zachary Sean-Thomas Wheeler Obituary
Posted by: on Apr 18 2009 10:55

BARRE - Zachary Sean-Tomas Wheeler, 25, of Barre went to "redneck" heaven Tuesday evening after a year long battle with synovial sarcoma (cancer). He was lovingly surrounded by family and friends.

Born August 12, 1983, Zack made the most of his short life, and lived it to the fullest, while touching many lives. He lived by his motto of "Failure is not an Option" never complaining about his illness or asking why. He will be missed by many.

Zack was a avid New York Yankees and Jeff Gordon fan, and enjoyed racing at Thunder Road where he was known as the "Redneck Racer" #83. He was also co-coordinator of "Toy Joy" along with his mother Rose, which celebrated its 20th year during Christmas 2008.

Surviving are his mother Rose Wheeler-Stillson and sister Autumn Wheeler of Barre, adopted father Charles Preston of Barre, step-father Rick Stillson of Winooski, grandmother (and aunt) Dolly (Eugene) Bisson of Barre, and gra...

WATERBURY - David E. Fleury, 43, of Jenny Davis Road, passed away unexpectedly at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin on Saturday evening, Dec. 6, 2008. Born in Montpelier on Oct. 27, 1965, he was the son of Frederick F. and Anne (Wheeler) Fleury. On April 13, 1985, David married Elizabeth Borland in Barre.

David was educated at Harwood Union High School in Duxbury and as a young man, worked in the construction field as a carpenter. He later embarked on a career in mechanical insulation and has been employed for the past 10 years by New England Air Systems of Williston.

An industrious worker all of his life, David found enjoyment working in the plumbing and heating field. He was a special person who enjoyed many things, like hunting and fishing with his boys, to cutting up deer with his dad or helping his parents with odd jobs around their home, or anyone else who was in need. His quiet times included watching Jeff Gordon race, the Boston Red Sox play, or simply talking with his daughter on the phone for long periods of time. He also spent a lot of time with his sisters and was a devoted and loving father to his children. He has touched many people's lives and will be greatly missed.

David is survived by his parents, Fred and Anne Fleury of Waterbury; his children, Nicole Fleury of Barre, David E. Fleury, Jr. of Waterbury, and Cory Fleury of Waterbury; his maternal grandmother, June Wheeler of Holiday Fla.; two sisters, Donna Fleury of So. Burlington, Patty Fleury and her companion, Rupert Erwin of Waterbury Center; a brother, Fred Fleury, Jr. and his wife, Dawn of Graniteville; his former wife, Elizabeth Fleury of Barre; his close friend and cousin, Patrick Fleury of Northfield; his friend and co-worker, Todd Chaffee of Essex; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and many good friends he considered family.

Memorial services will be held at the Waterbury Congregational Church on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow in the church dining room. Friends may call at the Perkins-Parker Funeral Home in Waterbury on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. The family requests that flowers be omitted; rather memorial gifts would be appreciated to the Cory and David Fleury Jr. Fund, C/O the Northfield Savings Bank, 29 South Main Street, Waterbury, VT 05676.
