This Tree has been compiled to show the known Descendants of Samuel Proctor (1685-1765), who came from Lynn, Massachusetts about the year 1718 to settle at Falmouth on Casco Bay in the District of Maine. One line of descendants (my line) went on to become prominate early settlers in several new towns growing up along the banks of the Androscoggin River. They played important early roles in establishing the towns of Lewiston, Danville, Durham, Webster, and Lisbon. I encourage anyone with information about any line of descendants of Samuel Proctor to contact me and share what they know.
