On Sunday January 16th 2011, Vernon and Leonore exchanged wedding vows in the Chula Vista SDA Church where they had first met several months earlier. Pastor Bradley Williams officiated before family and friends of both parties.

We moved into an apartment in La Mesa, Ca. to make our home and begin our new life together. We are having fun with our new place, our girls, our dog, and all the challenges life brings every day, we certainly have a very exciting life, God is good!

On the 16th day of March at 6:55 PM Judy sat next to me as we parked in the parking lot of the Chula Vista SDA Church. She began to have difficulty breathing. She asked me to rub her back in her lung area and to turn on the air conditioner. And within two minutes she laid over on my shoulder, dead.

I had the 911 operator on the phone at the time so within 4 minutes the emergency team arrived and took over giving her EMT treatments, to no avail. I spoke to my Cardiologist, Dr.Sadeghi later and his thoughts were that Judy had a blood clot in her lungs.

She wanted to be cremated and stay with me instead of being burried, so that is what I did. We had a memorial service at the church on March 23, 2010.
