Welcome

My name is Ann Gilbert and I am the Webmaster of this site. I have collected my information from family members and my own research for many years. I still have a lot of information on paper that I need to get on here someday, and always adding new family members to the site. I have family trees on my mom's side, my dad's side, my half-siblings dad's side, my stepmother's side, my in-laws side and a couple of distant relatives lines. My ethnic heritage is mostly European: English, Spanish (Spain), Portuguese, German, Swiss, Swedish, Norse, Irish, Scottish, French, Ukrainian and some American Indian (Cherokee, Choctaw & Shawnee). And probably more.

This site was created using MyHeritage.com. This is a great system that allows anyone like you and me to create a site for their family and even publish their family tree on the Internet.

Obituaries:Obit of my great-grandfather's niece; her name was Estella May (Hafer) Haifley she went by Stella
Posted by: Phishtales on Feb 1 2014 15:36
Note: it isn't entirely certain if the first given name was "Stella" or "Estella". It is reasonable to think that "Stella" was a short version of "Estella", but will use "Stella" for the first name on this memorial per her headstone inscription and obituary. The obituary for a son, John, referred to her as "Estella", which may or may not have been an error in his obituary.

Wife of John Lullen Haifley (note: his middle name may be Lewellyn).
