Elizabeth and Steven Mapes Family Tree

Hi Welcome to our family geneology site.  I am looking for relatives and histories, pictures ect.  I know that my grandmother was raised in Hayes, Kansas.  She was part of the Volgan Germans who settle as a community there.  I am curiouse about her history and the ties to the Volgan Germans being moved to Russia, during Hitlers reign of terror.  I know that my Grandfather Norman Swan Rosengren was from Sweden, he was an aerodynamic engeneer and inventor.  He worked for Boeing in Seattle building with a team named "The Teamsters".  It was the group of people who were working together to work on the first passanger jet, 747, 737.  He also did work on the Apollo 1.  My husband is Steven Scott Mapes, around the mid 70s he got to change his name and was adopted by his step-father Fred Mapes.  I can confirm is original name to possible relatives if they email me personally. I will be glad to coorespond with anyone who knows his real grandmother, grandfather, father, and other relatives.  Steven works hard, he is a very honest and commited father and husband.  I cant express my admiratoin and love for this man enough.  Somehow God blessed us both in finding eachother to get through this tough world with.  My Biological father was Robert Lee Center.
