My name is Barbara Zanzig and I am the Webmaster of this site.

I have two trees here. One is a combination of my own family tree, which includes the names ZANZIG, STEWART, HENDEN, WOODS and BARBER, and my ZANZIG one-name study registered with the Guild of One Name Studies. The ZANZIGs who are not direct relatives are collected under the dummy entry Unknown ZANZIG FATHER.

 The other is a tree containing HOEFLING, TARRANT and LANDON, centered on Michigan. This latter may be slightly attenuated because I removed items leading to Alf Landon, the US Presidential candidate.

I am going to try to do more with this, including pictures, but I don't like having a zillion variant trees--not sure how to deal with that. Also, I'm on a Mac so I can't use the builder tools very well--my primary genealogy program is TMG. Be prepared for me to delete and re-upload my GEDCOMs, which fortunately are down to 2, but unfortunately I guess that means re-smart matching things periodically.

The site picture is of Betty Stewart, my mother, who died in March 2009. It epitomizes her and I grin every time I see it! She would have been 80 on Dec. 30, 2011.
