BREWER, Robert William - age 71 of Dresden passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Chatham Kent Health Alliance Public General Campus. Born in Dresden son of the late Donald and Betty (Craig) Brewer. Surviving are his wife Patricia (Ions) Brewer, daughters: Kelly Martin (Scott) of Chatham, Cheryl Denning (Fred) of London, Janice VanHaecke (Wayne) of Tupperville, seven grandchildren: Brock and Connor Martin, Christopher and Erin Denning, Adam, Hailey and Jill Van Haecke, sisters: Linda Gall (Garnet) and Gay Hooper (Dale), brothers: Craig Brewer (Bonnie) and Tim Brewer (Cindy) all of Dresden. Visitors will be received at the THOMAS L. DEBURGER FUNERAL HOME, 620 Cross St. Dresden on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of the funeral home Monday, December 6, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Stephen Demitroff officiating. Interment in Dresden Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Mental Health Kent or Christ Church Anglican Dresden would be appreciated by the family. STEVENS, Gordon “Glen”, age 79, of Oil Springs passed away on Thursday August 13, 2009 at Bluewater Health – C.E.E. Site Petrolia. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (McGuire) Stevens (2005). Loving father of Jeffrey and his wife Kim Stevens of Tupperville. Dear grandfather of J.R. Stevens, Crystal Stevens, Jacob White and Nicole White. Great papa of Braden Stevens-Rivest. Survived by brothers Albert, Donald, Calvin, Allen and sisters Mary Cuthbertson, Margaret Adams, Eileen Oliphant, Grace Boyle, Doris Ross and sister-in-law Margaret Day. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Chester and Estelle (Law) Stevens and brother James Hugh Stevens.
