My name is Dee and I am the Webmaster of this site.

In celebration of my step-son's 15th Birthday I have uploaded a partial family tree for his Broadwood line. Happy Birthday Dayne!! Daddy loves you and your sisters.

I have removed my Main Williams family tree file as of February 16, 2013 in an effort to correct a number of mistakes. I will upload the corrected tree in the near future.

I started uploading my family files in the year 2000, it was my Millenium Project. It has since gone out of control and now consists of over 5000 members. Although I strive really hard to make sure NOT to add every Williams in the USA, I may have made mistakes or included others only because those before me say they should be there. I have as well used secondary sources such as census records, early written histories to flesh out my file and track these people. I assume that most history's written before 1900 are fairly accurate so have added data from those sources as well.
This file is far from done as my first goal to find my Mother's earliest paternal ancestor has not been reached. Secondly I am in the process of verifying that all those contained in my file rightly deserve to be in it.
If you find anyone in my files you are related to, please send me an email letting me know about you and your line. Also if you catch any mistakes that I may have made please don't hesitate to let me know, I would rather be humbled but accurate than to have the future generations be lost because of the mistakes I have made.
