This is Beatrice Germain, and I started this website with Helen.  The family tree includes all eight of my children's great-grandparents.  Surnames include:

You can select groups to look at in Family Tree form, and the site also has photos, maps and various charts.  There are wonderful photo albums for different branches of the family.  (I think the photos display best if you view them with the slideshow option, & select "classic" effect.)

You have to play around to figure out just all the stuff the software will do. If you select the "Profile" for an individual, you can find stories and notes -- and even recipes -- and there's a section where you can add text.  Click on a person in the family tree, then select the blue Profile button from the pop-up.

There are 1971 names in our family site. The earliest event is the birth of Alice Ricards, alias Fermor (1457). The most recent event is the birth of <Private> Withee (Mar 2012).
