My name is Chris Kurtis and I'd like to welcome you to the Family Tree Project.

I invite everyone (now Worldwide!)  to contribute to this Family Tree "Forest".  Please add as much detail (birthdates, birthplace, wedding dates and places, pictures old and new, stories, recipies, even medical information) and forward this on to as many family members as you can.  Anyone and Everyone is encouraged to participate and to add their branches, trees, inlaws, and to contact family members near and far to do the same.   Make this site YOUR family tree site.

I'm dedicating this site to my mother who we recently lost.  She used to remember EVERYONE'S birthdate.  So in honor of her, and to the benefit of all of us having another channel to communicate and see the outreach of our immediate and extended families, I welcome you to the Family Tree Project.

I believe this is what the wonderful tool of the internet was designed to be; connection, knowledge, belonging to something bigger.
