and I am the Site manager of this site. I started this family tree project purely for fun and to put together our family history for our children, before it's forgotten. YOU ARE ALL WELCOME to add information onto the site. The more information we have, the better and bigger the family tree will get. I'm trying to get and update as much information as possible, but it's a huge task, that's why I need your help. So please add your details (as much as possible) - your parents, grannies and granpa's - anyone you can think of in the family, even the "In-Laws". If you are linked to the family by blood, marriage, adoption etc, you are more than welcome to add and or edit. Dates are also important, so don't forget to add them as well. I have managed to trace the following surnames in as much detail as possible: - Reed - from 1866
- Hemphill - from +/- 1811
- Meyer - from 1839
- Weiblen - from 1887
- Retif - 1602
- Pretorius - 1680
- Joubert - 1667
- The rest of the surnames are more or less the current family
- Badenhorst, Broodryk, Gouws, Daly, Kleinhans, Kelly, van der Walt, Fox, Carrick, Smal, van Vuuren etc
