My name is andy
and I am the Site manager of this site.
This site was created using MyHeritage.com. This is a great system that allows anyone like you and I to create a site for their family and even publish their family tree on the Internet. If you have any comments or feedback about this site, please click here to contact me. Our family tree is posted online on this site! There are 711 names in our family tree. The earliest event is the birth of John Selkirk
(1640). The most recent event is the birth of <Private> Fisher
(Feb 6 2010). The site was last updated on Feb 20 2010, and it currently has 18 registered member(s). If you wish to become a member too, please click here.
Enjoy! UPDATE:April 2009 TO all the new members, the info here is not up to date. I needed to change my account to allow for more names to be added and haven't been able to add too many yet. It is a project for the summer, but will do some a little at a time. I have TONS of papers with names and dates and records...don't see it here, ask and I'll look it up. If you are going to add new info please let me know what you are adding. Please don't change my info, tell me if I have it wrong and let me update it and make sure it keeps up with my paper files and Ancestry account. I want to be able to count on the info I offer to all of you to be what I have verified. I've made a few mistakes and I want to be sure in the future to minimize the effects of an error. I have been getting a few notifications of changes and I'm not quickly finding the changes and it's time consuming. Some of you are letting me know and I thank you for doing so, it makes life easier.I thank you for participating in this family tree! UPDATE 2010 JANUARY Well, I've renewed the site for another year...there are still some things I'd like to work on here, hopefully I'll find time to confirm and add information in the coming months. I have plans to work on the Scottish Records Office documents that should help confirm dates and names on my family's tree and there are several new resources I've come across on the Fisher side that hopefully will be added in the coming months. |
