My name is Andrew Kauffman
and I started this site. Our family tree is posted online on this site! There are 3464 names in our family site. The earliest event is the birth of Herbert de Vermandois
(840). The most recent event is the birth of <Private> Fawcett
(Mar 24 2013).
Originally my focus was to research the Kauffman family line and our connection to the French Huguenot family of Philip and Marie Ferree. Then I began to research ancestors who served in and/or supported the American Revolution. My original source data for this family tree was built using information collected and assembled by my father, Andrew Hammond Kauffman Jr.
As time went on this core data was expanded on by myself, my sister Caroline Kauffman Shook, and my cousins Christopher Hail and William Porter Kauffman, and others. There are now about a dozen or so family members regularly contributing to this family history project.
The site contains photographs, videos, and documents which you can view online, or download. The site also provides you with the ability to create custom family tree charts and books. These charts can include the entire tree, or just one branch of the tree. If you have any questions on how to use the site, create these charts, download pictures and documents, or if you have any corrections or additions, please click here to contact me.
