This site was created using MyHeritage.com. This is a great system that allows anyone like you and me to create a private site for their family, build their family tree and share family photos. The Price/Smith, Gordon(Biagi)/Drake Family Tree Site Managed by Mike and Barbara Gordon SITE RULES This family tree site is a Premium Plus site which is fully paid up for five years from the 28th January 2013. This means that it is completely unlimited in the number of family name boxes and photos that may be added. Plus full support of My Heritage.com, together with a variety of limited search facilities etc. The site manager will occasionally take out a monthly subscription (at his own expense) to a Census search site for further research (1841 to 1911 census'). The tree can spread to as many branches of the family not directly related to the Price/Gordon family (ie by marriage) as any member wishes. Anyone may view the site without being a member but will be restricted in what they are able to see. For example, any branch of the family from a living person will be shaded grey and marked ‘private’. A non member cannot add to the tree in any way at all. Full members will see everything. They can add photos, dates and detailed info to the profile of a person within the tree. They can also add living descendents to the tree and may add ancestors to their family branches that are ony related by marriage but they should not add historical ancestors who are directly related to the Price, Smith, Drake or Biagi families. Any information that could be added to the ancestors of the direct family, must be forwarded to the site manager so as it can be verified before inclusion. Any info supplied for inclusion should be ‘known fact’ and not guesswork. Any unproven but possible info may be supplied to the site manager for further investigation. Membership is at the discretion of the named family and in anycase is restricted to over sixteens. Parents should ensure that their children are not allowed to make any changes to the site at all. Initially, full membership of the site will be a ‘one off’ payment of £25 (to the site manager), which then lasts for five years. Should we eventually gain more members than is required to cover the initial set up costs, then a decision will be made as to whether to reduce the membership joining fee, or reduce and refund some monies to existing members. Or whether to save the money for renewal of the site in 2018. Full accounts of income and outgoings will be maintained by the site manager. Should anyone make an error when entering info on the site and is unable to correct it, then please contact the site manager with full details so as it can be ammended. Photos, copies of birth, death or marriage certificates, old postcards, etc. are urgently needed, please contact me. |
