I would like to thank Nancy & Leon Mawson for the work they did compiling the book on the Mawsons, (which includes Alsop and Parish family members), plus others who had input into this book. Also Irene Watson who has done many, many years of Alsop family research.  For those family members that have supplied or wish to supply input into this site ~ a huge thank you.
