My name is John McEuen
and I started this site. This site was created using MyHeritage.com. This is a great system that allows anyone like you and me to create a private site for their family, build their family tree and share family photos. If you have any comments or feedback about this site, please click here to contact me. Our family tree is posted online on this site! There are 3143 names in our family site. The earliest event is the birth of Lorentz Stauch
(1558). The most recent event is the death of Helen Louise McEuen (born Carter)
(Mar 14 2012). The site was last updated on May 25 2012, and it currently has 46 registered member(s). If you wish to become a member too, please click here. Enjoy!
As I have received help from some other folks - a cousin once removed and a person who shares part of our extended family - i have added more folks and more pictures, including some older ones. Hope you enjoy!
It is now almost three months since I started on this. Using information from a cousin on my mom's side and more recently a cousin on my dad's side, plus a lor of digging, I have gratly increased the people and families in the tree. Each of you is in there in your proper spot. If you should be interested in adding to your own, starting a new tree or even merging together, I believe this is all possible. I used Family Tree Builder - free from myheritage.com - to develo this. There are a great many of searchable databases available and Ancestry. com is also a good web site. I would be interested to hear about anything you see or develop further.
What you see here is a product of mine started a couple of weeks agoe when Sally and I were sorting old photos and information. It got me interested in how to save all this stuff and so I started with Family Tree Builder, a free genealogy software package that is easy to use and very good at helping you find information. This is as far as I have gotten to date and am looking for more things and people to add. However, you will notice I have included only the closest relatives and basic information in the expanding tree leaves. This is because the Vaughans, Krunreis and Stoughs all have somone in their family who has such information. Thus, I have stuck mostly with mceuens and thomases, which are the main branches of our famly. Might be interesting to see if all these trees could be combined???
