My name is Lora Jean Campbell and I started this site.
My Dad, who is 89, was the inspiration; now it has taken on a life of it's own. Please understand that this is a work in progress, and I often make false starts.  In the year I have been doing this, I have had many major revisions after I blithely went down a false trail. Usually, I have tried to document only the direct lines, so not all children are shown. I thought this would limit the complexity of the tree, so I put all four of my grandparents on one tree. The joke is on me.  I did not expect to find so many generations, and I certainly did not expect them to inter connect. I am at a loss as to how to separate the trees without undue time and violence. This has not, however, been a bad thing; I am getting a much better education in history.

I am gratified and grateful that so many of you have sent matches and I take them all seriously. Because of the sheer number I often get behind.  I will get to them all.
