I have finally completed entering all my Mother's genealogical data into WWW.Ancestry.Com, then exported it as a GEDCOM file and attempted to upload it to this website only to find out that it exceeded the number of families allowed. In order to expand this website to accomadate the new database it would cost an additional $9.99 per month.
If any of you have an Ancestry.com member ship please advise and I will send you an invitation to join my online genealogy " Samuel Roger Williams" The rates for membership are $155.oo for 12 months or $77.00 for 6 months. If you plan on doing any serious genealogy it is worth the price because of the vast number of resources and sources available. I also purchased the ofline companion software "Family Tree Maker 2012". It is available either online download or snail mail. Price for upgrade version is $27.99 for Windows and $52.47for Mac. One may enter data via either program and it will synchronize the data between them.
