The late Kim Jones nee Roser visited the grave of Ann. Unfortunately all that remains is the actual cemetry site; none of the graves were marked. Records exist confirming that Ann was buried at that cemetry.
A great granddaughter of Phillip Hoar (1845) remembers 'talk' that he came from a family which had considerable wealth. Also, that he was part Greek. Additionally, it is this line that oral family history says is related in some way to 'royalty'. I do have some information on that from the side of the family claiming such but am yet to be converted - a lot more work needs to be done.
