This is a great system that allows anyone like you and me to create a private site for their family, build their family tree and share family photos. I became aware a couple of days ago that Google is indexing the photos on this site. As I do not have permission from everyone who might appear in the photos to have the photos visible around the world, I decided that it would be best to change the securitiy settings from "mixed" to "private".
This means that users have to be a member of this site before they can see the information on the site. Unfortunately this might make it harder for people researching their family trees to connect to our tree, but I felt better too strict than too open.
