My name is Kenn Shedenhelm (pictured here with my late brother, Larry.  I am the son of Gale A Shedenhelm and the great grandson of Joshua M Shedenhelm, Mervin Simmons, James Sylvester, and Isaac A. Hunt. Thus, I have named our primary tree "Shedenhelm-Simmons," but it includes many great ancestoral surnames- such as Agnew, Stewart, Jarboe, Schuall, and Slaymaker- and a huge number of surnames among their descendants.  The second tree on this site is dedicated to my wife, Sherry, who is descended from families "Cox, Gravett, Dyer."  The third tree on this site pursues my mother's heritage and it centers around "Sylvester-Hunt-Hart" surnames.  I am indebted to MyHeritage.com, which has been a great system,  and especially to the work my cousin, Maradean Yetley Eggers, and my wife's aunt, Enid Cox Stober.
