My name is Karen Baker-Simpson, and I started this site to explain, to my grandchildren, where our  ancestors were born, lived, worked and were laid to rest.  I regret not asking questions of my great grandmother and grandparents, as so many wonderful stories could have been told.  As I continue to research, many fascinating moments of time are made real.  Fortunately, with the help of many wonderful people, I  have found photos and so much information of  and about my ancestors.
