They left England with four children, Pauline [Marion]b.1875 UK, [married Williams] Charles Henry b.1878 UK, died NZ 1918, made a trip to US 1932, married Tibley 1921 NZ. Alexander Joseph b.1880 UK, died 1915 NZ. Sarah b.1882 UK, mentioned on passenger list only. In Sydney they added….. Gershon b.1883, my grand father, born same year as family arrived in Australia. Celestine Leonora, mentioned on Matilda’s death certificate only. Jeanetta Julia b.1886, married Stockbridge in NZ. Avice Annetta b.1888, married Blackmore in NZ. John Robert Victor b.1890, married Mitchell. Harold Hector Bernard b.1893, married Haywood. Norman Cyril Alphnso b.1900, married May. The parents names were Benjamin Hart b.1851 and Matilda Solomon b.1854. They married in the Great Synagogue of London. I understand they are buried in the cemetery at Spring GroveNew Zealand. Family members lived in Invercargill, and Wellington, as well as Spring Grove. If any of this rings a bell with you I would be delighted to hear from you.
