Rev. Martin Dormier, 94, went to his Heavenly Home on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007 in Reno, NV. He lived a full and interesting life in his 94 years beginning on a dusty farm near Megargel, TX on Dec. 21, 1912. He lived the life of homesteading with his parents in Idaho, where he worked on the farm, was educated, played baseball, football and graduated as valedictorian for the class of 1931 in Dietrich, ID. Called of the Lord at 18 years of age to minister, he went on to graduate from the Glad Tidings Bible Institute in San Francisco, CA in 1934. In 1936 Martin founded the Assembly of God church in Blackfoot. He met his beautiful wife, Viola Isaak in American Falls, where they married in 1936. Martin and Vi built and pastored several Assembly of God churches in Idaho, Washington and Montana during their many years of ministry. They pastored in American Falls from 1950 through 1956.
