My name is Laurie Lang

Go a little wild... why not! Eat something exotic, swim at midnight (or dream of it), love something (anything), and give Pete a kiss from me (you lucky woman)! In Nepal, tradition states that the person having the birthday GIVES the gifts rather than receiving them. Sounds good to me! Best to you (and everyone up that way)! Much love, Kristen (also Michael, and Clara the dog).
Michael and I climbed a mountain for my birthday (walked on snow, touched the clouds, froze our fingers off) - there's a lake just under the peak that is one of my (many) favourite places. It was a good day! Topped off by a perfect meal at mum and dad's (thanks mum... and dad (the meat was BBQed)). I have been gifted with two young trees (a grevillea and a banksia) AND some asparagus crowns, so we will be in the garden today. Yay. As for the poor puppy, Cheryl, she and I fly to Melbourne tomorrow for knee surgery! She's only 3! Wish us luck! THANK YOU for your wishes and hugs - they're warmly received. My very best to you! With love, Kristen.
Happy birthday, Megan, sorry our greeting is late - went away for the weekend and haven't sat down since we got back, (till now, and, horrors, discovered my neglect). Do hope you had a lovely day, and that you are feeling well and content and busily nestbuilding. Still look forward to meeting Rob - now Gran is not here I guess it's even less likely that you'll be up this way. Lots of love, Jude & Kirk XX
Thanks Cheryl! I'm glad you have heard on the grapevine about the baby - I've been very slack at letting the family know. Yet another reason to miss Grandma. Hope you are well!
Thankyou for your birthday greetings. I had a lovely day being waited on hand and foot. Megan is going well and is slowly coming to terms with motherhood. Kristen and I are traveling to Melbourne next weekend to see her playing in a concert at the art centre. Hope you are both well and happy. Love from Judy
Happy birthday for yesterday, Judy. Hope you had a lovely day. It's freezing up here, so you must be snowed in down there! Did I hear mention of global cooling? How is Megan going? Hope she's well, and content.
(That goes for everyone)!
Love - Jude
Hi Cheryl. HAPPY BIRTHDAY for the 23rd. Sorry my computor has been down for 5 days. We missed you on Friday at Marg's send off but will catch up again. Love Wendy and Ian. XXX
