Notes for CAROLINE SHINGLER: Caroline is on the 1841 Census with her parents at age 5 years. Then on the 1851 Census at age 16 years with her sister Elizabeth Hannah Wood at 4 Clipstone St St Marylebone Middlesex. Caroline came out to Aust as an unassisted immigrant on the ship called "Walmer Castle" at age 18 years and arrived in Aug 1853. (Most Likely her brother Charles was with her but as a ship crew member so not listed as a passenger of this ship) Caroline's 2nd marriage was in 1872 to John Cross. Between both husbands she had ten children. Caroline Cross died 1920 under the name of Carol Cross age 85 years Death Entry No 6526.
