Photo was taken in 1928. the year she graduated from High school. Celie had been invited to dance with the New York City Ballet Co. She refused the offer and finished her education at U.N.C. Chapel Hill in Greensboro. Celie was a world traveller hwo finally settled in Saginaw Mi. where she passed away on May 6th, 2000. I miss her terribly.
