I wish I could have known my ancestors. Thay all passed away before I was born. I have never even met my birth Father. I wrote him very gentle letter a few years back but never replied. My Mother's sister married his brother. I'ts so weird, their kids & I are double cousins. And we never grew up together either. Sad. And the real sad thing is my birth father & his last living sibling, a sister are the only two left in the family. I met her at my Mother's graveside service last Memorial Day & said to call her. She is 82 & said to call her & would try to give me all the family info she could. Do you live by Truman Lake? I have an ex sister in law that has live down there for years.
