The hair under her chin is that of George Charles Akard. The photo was cut from a post card sent to Elizabeth Guise Akard from Goshen, IN 8/10/1909 by either Susan Leona "Leo" Akard or her sister Bertha Young. There were two post cards, one without Bertha and one with. Can't tell which this one is.
John and Julia are seated. Ancestry.com has this photo and at least 3 names of those standing. I have limited guest privileges there so I can't see the entire caption.
You have here on John Arthur's Profile page, two Julia Anns. One is listed as his sister, one his daughter. If you Click on the daughter you find 1853-1943 as her dates. While you don't have both dates on the daughter, if you go to her profile page and click on the Find a Grave Thumbnail, you will see the dates of 1853-1943. I believe you did a Smart Match with someones site with poor information. They misspelled Martindale and place that one as John's sister. The source citation listed her appears to be from me. I'm sure the sister did not come from me. If you have your source for this, please let me know. I try to track errors like this down to get the original error corrected. I've spent dozens of hours tracking down this type of error. Sometimes it takes me to 10 or more trees to get it fixed. Thank you for your time.
