OH! and don't miss this!!! You can make and download a book of all of our family information in pdf form to your desktop! Just find the "make a chart/book" button link and when you see "create a book" just click on it! (MyHeritage will do the rest).
They will automatically compile all the information entered here into a neat and handy pdf file format that you can download. They will send you an email telling you when your book is finished for download. Just click on the link provided in the email & voila' .... there's your complete book of our current family history. This can be updated as often as you like. And, be sure you do this towards the end of our anniversary date here In July 2011 (that's coming right up, folks!) I suggest downloading your book by the end of June this year. That's when our paid account ends and family members will no longer have access to the information unless someone else chooses to pay for more time here. So, it's important that you keep that in mind so you don't miss your opportunity to update your information and receive a downloadable family history for yourself. :-)
And then of course, once you've downloaded your book, it will be printable so that you can go ahead and print your book to have an updated and accurate hard-copy of your family history at hand to review, make notes on, update, add pages to etc.

This National Archives site is a great place, since it includes articles on how to conduct genealogical research, what types of records are and are not available online, how to use research tools, and links to genealogical websites. While not all records are available on this site, you will find information here to help you prepare to visit the National Archives and other sources.
Just a reminder to everyone that you can add your family happenings, daily news bits etc. right here by just clickin on the "Add News Article" Button on this page. Click the Add News and just enter your family happenings in the text box that appears, just like I'm doing now. When finished, click the save button at the bottom of the page and there you have it! Your news, announcements, whatever you want to share will magically appear on our home page here for everyone. And...you can either allow other family members to post their comments or uncheck the little tic box under your text box area before hitting the "save" button at the bottom of the page. And, you can even have responses sent to you via email!
A great way to keep in touch and let everyone know what's happening in your life!

Any “in depth” information that you (or anyone else in the family) has entered under FACTS will appear there.
