My name is <Elizabeth How> and I started this site. There are just over 1000 names in my tree. My Grandfather on my Father's side of the family had a lot oof seafarers amoungst them and my Grandmother's (Dad's Mother) hailed from a family of Sugar Bakers and Refiners originally from Germany. My Mother's family were German. They went to South Africa c1850. Grandfather's family were farmers and Grandmother's family were Missionaries. They settled in Natal where my Mother was born
