Giocomo I believe went to France and had family. Sisters stayed in Olginasio and left eveything to the church (so story goes). Papa (Giovanni - Frank) went back to Italy in the 60s. He was overwhelmed with sadness and grief. Family believes he died of broken heart. Inherited land in Olginasio. No family went to claim it. Heard it went to the state (Italian Govt;?) I went and visited Olginasio in 1995. Proper Itaian - not sland like in major cities. I cried.
This is most I know. May be nothing. Had pictures. Had aunt Giovanna. He named his first son Pietro and his first beautiful daughtrer Adeleina. Children beautiful auburn hair. - Lena died at age of 23 of TB in states. He had a daugher Jeanina (Jeanie), Jovanina. (Jenny), Joseppina (Josie), and Guilio (my dad)

I am trying to connect my grandfather with this family and tree. Maybe yes or maybe no.
His name was Giovanni from Olginassio birth 1888 and his brother was Giocomo. I believe he had 2/3 sisters at least - which I do not know names. One was a nurse and other - difficult. His parents (colomba??) made him the breadwinner at early age for group. He went to Switzerland and Lugano and Como to learn to be a Master Chef. He left for the states in 1905 and married a Polidori.
