Annie soon got bored and so they moved back to London - to Cowley Street, not far from houses of parliament. Annie's sister Hetty lived at number 85 - her father had lived there before that.

The family later moved west to Iveagh Close, Park Royal. George had landed a job as a driver with Guinness and the house came with the job.

Grandad used to help his Dad on the lorries until he went to war. George lost his job while Grandad was at war after a barrel fell off the lorry.
