I am a descendant of Christian Plantz/Plants and Catherine Haines through their son Leonard Plants. It gets a little complicated because Leonard had 3 wives (2 of them sisters) and 19 children. My lineage is; Leonard Plants m: Fannny Barney. Their son Jesse Plants married Sarah Jane Alexander. Their son, Rufus Plants married Nancy Elizabeth Curry. Theiri son, Jesse Raymond Plants married Nelle Brownlee; their son, Raymond Blaine Plants was my dad. If you want more info on this line email me as I have quite a bit.

Christian Plants was born Christian Plantz. His mother was Mary Margaretta (not Anna Maxwell, which some folks have) and they came to the U.S. on the ship "Fane" from Bavaria. Christian was a soldier in the American Revolution.
