Citation text:Descendants of John Flack
John Flack and his wife, Mary Crow lived in Rockingham County, and it was there that their daughter Rebecca Flack was born in 1797. She later married Peter Light Anderson and lived in Greenbrier County, West Virginia.
Samuel Flack also lived in Greenbrier County and though we have not found absolute proof he was Rebecca's brother, there is circumstantial evidence that he was. Sam's first wife was Sarah (Sally) Davis. She died in Greenbrier County at a young age, probably at the birth of her twins Sarah and Rebecca. Any help you can give on Sally's background would be greatly appreciated as I have not a clue! Sam soon married again and had several more children. An effort has been made to gather all the descendants up to at least 1900, but many are missing.
