Casper Diller emigrated August 17, 1733 arrived in Philadelphia, PA on ship Samuel (Hugh Percy, master) from Rotterdam, HOLLAND. He listed his age as 37. Accompaning family members were his wife Anna Barbara Dornis (30), daughter Maria Christina (2), son Philipps Adam (10), son Johann Martin (8), daughter Anna Rosina, daughter Johanna Maria, and son Christoph Peter. "The Compendium of American Genealogy, 1600-1800's" refers to Caspar Elias Diller: Huguenot, fled to Holland, thence to England, back to Germany, then came to Pennsylvania on the 'Samuel' In 1733 -, Granson of Jean Dillier: Huguenot Minister and author. Married 1st Anna Barbara

Caspar's dates of birth and death on the headstone do not match what is in the Diller Book, however, he did live to be about 100 years old. In another book, it is stated he died in 1770 or 1775 and lived to be about 100 years old.
