James J. Diller, 76, of Wadsworth, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2011.
He was born on August 14, 1934, to the late Harold and Jennie Diller. James entered the Marine Corps in February of 1953 and left as a Corporal in June of 1956, after serving in the Korean War. He was a referee and an umpire for ASA, SUA, and OHAA with over 25 years with the Ohio High School Association.
James is survived by his wife, Betsy (Loretta); son, William Orr; daughter, Tamara Shane; and son and daughter Jonathon and Karen Diller of South Carolina. He was a loving grandfather to Krystal Shane, Austin Diller, Zachary Orr, and Abigail Orr. Also surviving are sister, Shirley Stutler; nieces, Carol Winnet, Joyce Stutler, Debra Gregorc; and nephew, Ronald Stutler.
