They wer staying with Prof. and Mrs D. S. Weinheimer when Ruth died of cholera. Four weeks later, Daisy had a nervous breakdown and subsequently died of a cerebral hemmorhage. Both Daisy and Ruth were burined in Chicago. Charles apparently then returned to Chicago.   In the 1900 Cook County, IL census, Charles is listed as a widowed.
