Was in the Royal Navy in WWI until discharged on health grounds (sea-sickness?)
in Toronto. Became Lloyds Bank Manager. Lived in Welwyn Garden City during
WWII.

N°99, born 21 uly 1898, Arlsey R.D., name Kennedy, boy, father Ernest Tew,
mother Bessie Harriet Tew formerly Squire, father's occupation Clerk of Cement
Works, informant BH Tew, mother, Arlsey, registered 24 August 1898 by Alfred
Jelf(?), Registrar.
Buried at Hitchin Cemetary (St Johns Road?), Plot South 928 (about fifty paces
downhill from the chapel). Inscription reads- 'In Loving Memory of Kennedy
Tew, A Devoted Husband and Father, Who Died March 10th 1995, Aged 96 years.
Also of Annie, His Beloved Wife, Who Died October 11th 1997, Aged 95 Years.
