The gravestone reads: In Loving memory of Bessie H Tew who was taken home to
be with her lord on May 13th 1909 Aged 39 years. See also Kennedy's notes for
more details.
She was found in the 1881 census at 11 Hemingford Rd Islington ref RG11 234
Folio 5 Page 3 as an 11 year old Scholar, born in St Pancras. She was a
witness at both Annie's & Herbert James's marriages, and on Kennedy Tew's birth
certificate.
Marriage certificate says that on Aug 9 1892 she was - Age: 22, condition:
spinster, profession: -, Resident at: Granchester, daughter of James Squire
(deceased), Clerk.
