Stephen McKenzie McReynolds

It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Stephen

McReynolds. Stephen took his own life early on Sept 7, 2012 in Bellingham, Washington where he has been living. He was 23 years old. He is survived by his parents Dan and Sue, his siblings John, Andy,

and Lisa, and his daughter Brooklyn.

There will be a memorial service:

It is hard to sum up a life in a few words, and it’s even more difficult in these circumstances. Stephen was a unique, wonderful, and complex person. He was capable of both hi

larious humor and impenetrable melancholy. He had a special creative talent that came through in music, wit, and cooking. He was a gentle soul. He was often also a troubled soul who saw less in himsel

f than those around him could see.

In spite of the dark days we are going through right now, we have hope because we will see Stephen again in heaven. And we expect him to be playing bass in the

band and telling the occasional silly joke. We are trusting God to heal our hearts and to create something good out of even this circumstance.
