As a young person Alice was employed by Mrs George Tate, Brixton, as a housekeeper. William Hall and Jim Draper came to thresh oats with the steam engine and that is how they met. I remember her as a person who was almost always in her kitchen, she was very kind to her grandchildren and was always careful to act kindly to other people in general. Died from; Myocardial failure (3 Mths) & myocardial isochaema (yrs) & senility (yrs). Dr J H Fletcher.
