Biography

Percy Barrington, 8th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of officer in 1841 in the service of the Rifle Brigade and Scots Fusilier Guards.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Buckinghamshire in 1864.1 He succeeded to the title of 8th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass, co. Down [I., 1720] on 6 November 1886.1 He succeeded to the title of 8th Baron Barrington of Newcastle, co. Limerick [I., 1720] on 6 November 1886
