I just read your posting on the Bowes genforum...fasinating..I descend from Sarah Bowles died Caswell co NC died 1785. My 4th gr grandmother was Oney Bowles Yeargain/Yeargin. I have been trying to get back further but no luck. I have been working on Oney's brother John, I call him Sr and his kids. The children had no land and left no wills so I am guessing at their kids. I seem to have stolen part of yours or vica versa. I have Sarah Bowes/Bowles m Shadrack Carver as belonging to Jordon, Jordon's assumed dau Oney m Asa Carver, Shadrack's brother, sisters often married brothers, they all lived close.

I would like to exchange information with you but I have nothing to compare with what you have. I have gone thru the census and matched ages and marriages to come up with the John Sr. grandchildren. Some names, like Jordon, Bartlett, Benjamin, Sarah, Martha and of course Oney are very strong in this line. I have typed up what I have and would send as an attachment, that's the only way I can do it. It would be several attachments.

Hope to hear from you, Mary Ann
