Eleazer Melvin

Eleazer MELVIN was born on 30 Mar 1743 in Concord, Massachusetts. He died after 1792. He was in the militia in the colonial wars of 1758 and 1759; when the Revolution came, having fought for the King, he felt he could not fight against him and went to Halifax, Nova Scotia. He returned after the revolution to live in Lincoln, Massachusetts, but his property had been confiscated. He was a housewright, or joiner. Parents: Lt. Robert MELVIN and Sarah.  He married Sarah Hartwell on 9/4/1764, and
