It is with great sadness to announce the passing of a wonderful woman, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family is where she spent her final days. She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband and soulmate of 46 years, Bernard, her children, Barry (Tiffany), Alanna (Mike), and her precious grandchildren, Brendan, Ciara, Caelen and Coby. Forever cherished by her siblings, Charlie, Peadar, Anne, Mark, Tony, Tommy, Ronnie, and all her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Charles and Esther Coughlan and sister Aasa. She will be remembered as an incredible musician who brought great joy through her passion and love for music. We were all fortunate and blessed to have had her as part of our lives. Thank you to the Ottawa General Hospital staff, along with the Cancer Centre for giving us these extra years with her. A special thank you for your compassion and care to: Dr. Scott Laurie and Sylvie Marchand; Dr. Robert MacCrae and Linda Healey; Dr. Virginia Hurdon and Tasma Baxendale along with all the CCAC staff.
