[1] In the name of God Amen. In the year of our Lord 1463 the first day of the month of January I Thomas Meriell of Wherstede of sound

[2] mind and healthy memory establish and dispose my will in this manner. Item 1. I bequeath my soul to Almighty God

[3] and Saint Mary glorious Virgin and all Saints my body to be buried in the parish church of Wherstede at whose high altar for ____
